The RM board are prepared for one day rolling stoppages and they will let us carry on with them while they implement all the changes they want, during this current part of the dispute they are imposing the later starts on us and the CWUs reaction is to tell us to go along with it. The later starts are here forever now, and you've got to wonder what deals have been done behind the members backs on other issues such as D2D.

The public hardly noticed the rolling strikes because they got mail 5 days a week, we have to do whatever it takes to win this dispute and if that means staying out from now 'till Christmas we have to be prepared to do it.

Another option is to take the dispute out of the leaderships hands and embark on a series of wildcat strikes that will paralyze the system and return the CWU to its members. We need a fighting union and we need it now.

ALL OUT NOW!

Best put my house up for sale and move in with the mother in law, let my children starve and freeze in winter as i have no money to feed them or keep them warm.

Rolling strikes are fine,i was delivering letters a week old after the last one,add the 4 days we've just had and the do your job properly campaign the place is f****d.

You aint gonna get an all out,i'm up for the strikes and many others are as well, but an all out will kill me and many others.
The Union wont have it anyway.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
