A turning point for a lot of posties with one foot on the strike line and the other foot hovering over the working line will be this Thurs/Fri when they get their wage slips,2 days pay docked could see any waverers go over to the "dark side"when the rolling days action start.

Many people would swallow a days docked pay just for a peaceful life, but if the union decide on another 48 strike it could be a diasterous move.Myself at the moment i can swallow a few one dayer's,but another couple of 2 dayers would hit me very hard,as for the all out strike which some are calling for would cause me to think long and hard,no doubt i would'nt be alone on that one.The pension scam is the main argument for me in this dispute.

ALSO....Just a reminder to my fellow posties up and down the country, management will be on the prowl and keen to provoke unofficial IA when we go back on Wednesday, lets keep this dispute legal and official, the lads(delivery) at my office have had all sorts of sh1te thrown at them over the last couple of months to get them to walk on unofficial IA,management were so frustrated that they would'nt walk they went and started on the processing staff, who did'nt take the baite either.

Still 100% out in our Glasgow office.

As well as the rolling strikes, Glasgow area informed RM management on Fri 5th Oct, that from the Fri 12th Oct we will be striking the last hour of every day, although most of the posties i've spoken to don't agree with this. They feel we should stick to the national 1 day stoppages.

WA postcode: 1 scab in Warrington DO, but not a local lad. 2 in Alrtincham, 1 not local but wearing grey drop bags over their scabby heads. A couple of strike breakers in Knutsford, but St Helens, Widnes, Runcorn, Frodsham, Newton le Williows, Birchwood all solid. Warrington Rail Terminal only 1 scab.

PUTTING THIS IN CAPITALS SO THAT IF ANY OF THE strike breakers FROM BONNYRIGG DO READ THIS THEN THEY CANT MISS WHAT I THINK OF THEM.

PEICES OF s**t

small office of 17 workers and out of that 7 pr**s have gone in. SCARED TO SHOW MY FACE AT NEXT UNION MEETING SO ASHAMED OF WORKING BESIDE THESE ARSEHOLES.

Glad to hear how strong everywhere else in the area is though. Anyone meeting a Bonnyrigg Postie in the street, remember to ask them if they were on strike before you shout SCAB loudly at them if they say they went to work.
