we was told about stopping the early allowance at a meeting last wednesday by our area rep. i can only assume he has this as fact though there were some waverers at the meeting and he might have thrown it in to help convert them into our way of thinking

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

as i said im not in but when i originally asked i got no answer about saturdays. i do stair deliveries and always have a few no entry stairs broken buzzers/lazy fookers wont answer the buzzers so need to pouch.given the cut backs on weekend collections yit could take days ofr pouched mail to return.
im not too far from the DO on my delivery so could walk back and pouchj off at the DO letterbox but im not gonna dothat

Post by ray of sunshine »

Rurals, drivers, and town walks starts 5am this week.
The rest of us start at 6am-2.15pm
saturdays 6am-1pm
I have put a letter in, stating that hubby goes to work at 10.45am on saturdays, what about my 3 kids
the dim's boss said they cant help, and when i come back next week, he will come around with me on the saturday to prove that i will be well finished by 1pm!!!
It there anything i can do besides just accepting this as surely they have to accomodate people with kids??????
