Don't you think it's about time you entered the real world?

Personally I would say a realistic deal would be,2.5% this year and next, keep our D2D payments(or at least be paid for 3 or 4) and postpone the raising of the pension age to say 2015 or 2020.

WTF 2.5% in real terms is a fcuking PAY CUT I am pi**ed off with seeing people say this on this forum.

Council Tax, Water Bills, Gas & Electricity and Fuel have all increased by a lot more than 2.5%.

That is the real world matey.

Ok um real world..

Leighton, Crozier sacked

- um.. who do I have to apply to for the well paid part time job (with very good perks and bonuses).

Doesn't look that hard, destroying a company is easy, its harder to make it successfull :cfo :lfo

What about not raising the pension age at all, but only for new entrant.
i've worked for RM for 17 years, and have another 27 years up too 60.
that's if RM are still in business. i mean 27 years sounds unbearable, but
another 32 years i'll be bloody dead!

keep our door to door payments no matter what would have to be part of the deal.do away with this banking hours bollox.oh and put leighton and crozier in charge of afghanistan post office would be a better deal.

Take the pay % we're offered now.
No flexibility:Most work is covered and the hours for OT has dropped anyway so savings have started already there.
No annualised hours.
No Monthly pay.
Keep/increase D2D but get payed for it.
Later starts to be negoiated at local level, some want it some don't.
Negoiate part time contracts,a certain % of PT'S to FT in offices.
AND LEAVE THE FECKING PENSION ALONE!!!
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
