I see moya has put the £300 in writing now using the word yourself in print so as I said before I think she has very good legal advice. People have said that it's illegal which I question myself. I suppose we will find out soon!

I 'think' she has enough PIRATISATION funds to have 'the very best' legal team....however, she doesn't realise we have 'resolve' 'unity' 'strength and Determination to get a fair deal, if it means we may have to jump through a few more hoops to achieve that, then so be it!

I've said it in another thread but the union need to get this message out ASAP if they want any chance of winning this fight because members in our office who were in favour of strike action are now changing their minds and will cross the picket line because they're under the allusion it they will lose £300 if they don't.

Is there an official copy of the union letter in the first post because I've not seen anything regarding this in our office?

Remember delivery staff that a lot of mail centre staff have Mondays off so they won't lose the £300.

There is no £300 - and even if there was a lot of Delivery staff have Mondays off as well - your point ? if there was one (beyond agitating).

But that wasn't the point you were trying to make was it - what where you trying to do.

Surely you are not trying to start a divide between deliveries and mail centres are you.

No I am not trying to divide just stating a fact. Don't know if you go to the mail centres often but if you look at the car park it's quiet. Also I don't like the union reps gloating that they are not working too. I still think there will be more strikes announced after this so if they strike they will lose there monies anyway. I don't think it's right to say the money is not there. How would you feel if she does pay it and the strikers don't get it. It's only my opinion and I do say I don't think she is doing anything legally wrong.

The £300 lump sum offered as part of our overall proposal on pay

The proposal has been rejected.
At some point Royal Mail and the CWU will reach agreement,they always do.This will happen long before Christmas.
That agreement will supercede any previous "proposal".
What that agreement might contain is up for debate but one thing it will not contain is a clause that encourages staff to break a lawful strike by rewarding them with £300.
Everybody will receive the £300 or nobody will receive the £300.

That is not how I read on Royal Mail website and my point I would not be surprised if she just payed it in december to non strikers. They can just start paying a payrise before it's agreed. There are not many people who would ask to be paid at old rate if they were paying you more. If I am wrong please correct me!

No just doing the knowledge but have legal people very close to me.
