I thought it was strange when the BBC was talking about strikes specifically in the run up to Christmas. November, not October? Is there a time limit on it from the date of the ballot?

they have to give 7 days notice before they take strike action, but also to keep the active yes vote ''live'' they must take action within 28 days of the yes vote otherwise we have to be re-balloted
