if would have to be a really good deal and not just the money , the amount of b&h off doms and all there little money saving ideas to line there own pockets , I can only talk about delivery and it would have to be voted by the members to accept it.

Rumour started elsewhere suggests 7-year agreement on terms & conditions. Believe it when I see it in black-and-white. Until then, idle gossip

But how could "Royal Mail have come out and told you that there was a new offer" if the talks are conducted in secret, like we didn't even know what the CWU had rejected several weeks ago ?

Royal Mail would attempt to undermine the ballot and yes vote by saying there is an improved offer in the same way they have already used the £300 as a bribe. You believe there is a deal if you wish , I will believe the truth !

In all honesty when we arranged the meet for members it was the PEC guy who told us we were extremely close to a deal and a big yes vote would near as damn it clinch it. So its not just RM giving that impression, really. I hope i and the members havent been lied to to just get a big yes vote.

I would have voted yes anyway and im sure the members would but after the meet they are not really expecting to go on strike.

with the share price booming you are in a great position to negotiate

just get an agreement in long enough otherwise first signs of a drop in prfits and they will start to eat in to t's & c's down the line.

If our union get a big YES vote our union should hold RM to ransom, unhappy workforce - share drop, happy workforce - shares will rise. Plus more business will come our way and bigger profits for shareholders.

i really hope the union dont mess it up this time, royal mail have no idea how there workforce are feeling and its about time we made them realise we've had enough of greene

The PEC met yesterday and there is definitely no deal or a deal even close. If there is a yes vote tomorrow which will be known at 3 then you will see exactly what the CWUs tactic is and it is to go to war and not about selling members short.
