Bro should point out that in the Treaty of Union Article 3 provide for the creation of the one, unified, parliament of Great Britain. Not English Parliament as you suggest.

The united Kingdom of Great Britain was born on 1 May 1707, shortly after the parliaments of Scotland and England had ratified the Treaty of Union by each approving Acts of Union combining the two parliaments and the two royal titles.

an excellent , eye opening and persuasive article. if i were a Scot , it would be a yes vote from me and I hope that Scotland can become that healthy, prosperous, more equal and productive nation with a fully funded pension fund and have a real voice in world affairs .

Surely you mean short odds as I thought you were voting yes for independance.Maybe I got it wrong!
