Is this my start date?

Not sure what to do? I had a e mail on the 1st October saying that I have been offered a job assuming I pass the pre employment check. I logged onto the website and it said I had passed my security check.
The e mail I received also gave me a date for my induction day and start date and they would get back to me to confirm these dates,however I have not heard from them since and I have to put my notice in today as my Royal mail start day is next Tuesday.
Do I go ahead and put my notice in and turn up at Southampton for my induction day next Tuesday? Even if i have not received an e mail confirmation ?

If you were given a date for you induction day and start day I assume you are already rm employee no need to worry.

I have submitted my weeks notice so I hope all goes well and I am really starting to believe it is going to happen its quite a journey getting a job as a postie.
