How long's your sentence ?

Just got my 20 years ROYAL MAIL badge. I was one of the ones who got a dopey 10 year Consignia badge. Proudly started out in my mid twenties trying to look cool dressed in blue jacket with red piping, matching trousers,compulsory red/blue striped tie and blue flat cap with more red piping. Now trying to look mature at fifty dressed like my 15 year old son in fleece, combats, trainers and baseball cap.

Afraid I went after 46 years although I did have a 3 month break so Royal Mail didn't count the first 7 years. No problems with the job but the pressure people are put under is ridiculous

Me, I'm just coming up to 22 years in a few days. 23 years ago I rang up every month for six months ..... any jobs any jobs,not going to stop until you give me a job ..... now I think what was I doing.

been a postie (deliveries) for 24 years now not the job it was but the boys are a great bunch sorta makes it bearable

28 years this November, done every shift but on delivery for the last 15 years, a little less than 3 to go before I get my release papers

Saw the job while popping into a jobcentre while inbetween jobs, i'll try that until a better job comes along I thought. That was a good year 1995! Now desperately looking for a better job.
