I know this topic has been covered before but would like some up to date info on Parcel force only please.
Been walking Postman for some years, rounds are getting bigger and bigger ,soon be 1 postman to several Postcodes !!
Body is saying its tired , Brain saying it wants a change, overtime is getting less and less , and less pay for more work.
Another Revision on cards soon with Crazy size walks !
Parcel force have a depot close to where I live, and want owner drivers or employed drivers. Owner Driver is in a area I know of sorts.
Been critical of franchises in past and know lots of failed DHL Couriers (owner drivers )
But is Parcel force Different ?
Also with privatisation Parcel force could bee sold off and then what ?Really unsure what to do ,Dont want to go to Parcel Force as employed and go to a area I DONT KNOW WITH 100+ DROPS .
I know of 1 owner driver for Parcel force been doping it for years and does ok ? but do not know him to talk to ,area is small town with lots of villages.
Any help or suggestions re Parcel force would really be appreciated.
Thanks
In advance

Have a look at this,

and maybe a Mod could move this thread out of 'blue shirts' to a place where more Parcel Force drivers could see it.

Moved to the new PF forum.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: PARCEL FORCE OWNER DRIVERS
A few of our owner drivers used to be Parcelforce employees. If you asked any one of them now they would all say it was a bad decision. Their prices have not went up to reflect the massive increase in fuel + insurance. If the mail is late, tough, they have to wait and stay out til all hours. They have to worry about timed deliveries, timed collections and so on.
