Did you require two passport photos? And what shift had the earliest start date?

They all had the same start just about, on the 25th. I brought 5 passport pictures and they only needed one - they also took a picture for my ID badge. I put down 'any' shift work as well if I could start earlier but I put down lates.

My applications Status: still reads APPLICATION RECEIVED after I log in.

I would usually have got to the next stage by now when I get email to book interview/assessment.

Anyone with same problem.

Cheers

Hi all went for registration even on 3rd October, all docs were fine but now, online status went from "processing security checks" to "awaiting further information" does anyone know what this means? I've phoned them and the gentleman i spoke to says i need to call back in a week's time. I was supposed to start November 25th, has anyone had this status and still been called for work? Many thanks.

Nothing to worry about - no news is good news. You should recieve a welcome pack in the post, make sure you send them your p45 in return, with your pay number written at the top to ensure you aren't taxed emergency tax.

Yes. If anything it's preferable as it means there's slightly less paperwork to get through on the day.

Attended a registration event this morning. Absolutely staggered by the number of prospective recruitees who didn't have the correct supporting documents. Proof of ID; proof of right to work in the UK; proof of NI number; proof of address. Copies AND originals to be presented. It's really not difficult!
Turned up for my registration and my line manager from last year was there, he jokingly said 'stop right there young man.....I assume you've got all your paperwork?.......good, go straight in'! Haven't been abroad for several years and my passport has expired so I had copies of my birth certificate and adoption papers This is my fourth stint, on the application I always put down my birth name in answer to 'have you ever been known by a different name'. Guy on the reception desk said I didn't need the birth certificate. Went in, first manager checked through my summary and documents then sent me over to the second area to get my contract and shift allocated. Second manager went through my summary then said "I see you have a change of name here", so I told him I was adopted and gave him the copies, he sounded surprised when I said that the first manager hadn't queried the name change.

How long was it roughly before it changed to processing security checks after you had your interview?

Last year mine was stuck on awaiting further info for around three weeks before getting a call with the job offer, they just take a while! Haha
