Re: DOM suspension
I wonder whether there will be a double page in the Courier reporting on their misdemeanors.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Re: DOM suspension
I remember a while back when a DSM on N.London was suspended for having an office within his area claim it was clear when it was actually rolling over (no action whatsover was taken against the DOM of the office) and believe me he was and is a thoroughly nice bloke who just didn't fit with the new ethos .... didn't B&H any of his staff and always treated people with dignity and respect so not really a guy who promoted the values of the new RM. He resurfaced in the SE area but his replacement was a known bully who many in London may know by reputation (I don't even need to name him) so I would say be careful what you wish for.

Can you expand please, what figures etc?GT750rider wrote:Delivery office managers ( and those hoping to climb the greasy pole ) in Gloucestershire are no doubt feeling a bit twitchy after one DIM was suspended recently, and another encouraged to resign. The suspension was for cooking the books / falsifying figures allegedly, the other was again, to do with finances, allegedly.
It really does make you ask who the hell would want to join the scumbags. Do I feel sorry for them??? a resounding NO
probably sacking someone and witholding evidence (trying to) to make their savings????

Interesting? what were they doing exactly? My managers are so pushy about d2d's can't imagen any would actually do anything to help out posties with disposing of d2d's?POSTMAN wrote:Waiting for conformation but apparently at least 2 in SE London have been given the push for fecking about with D2D's recently.

Re: DOM suspension
Lets face it, how many of these managers can actually MANAGE! Easy targets if RM fancy it as there completely shite and clueless. Wearing a shirt and tie does not suddenly enhance your brain power, you were a thick f""k before and your a thick f""k now.
