I was a Queensman later to become PWRR(princess of wales royal regiment) i met Diana at the trooping of the colour! Lovely lady sorely missed.

i was in the Royal Engineers from 1980 till 1989. great time but my take on life, politics etc has changed since then---old age you know !!! that was real teamworking, not the tosh the RM management talks about now and it makes me laugh watching some of the management panic when they cant cope with a few extra packets and letters !!

Of course not. Mail is mail and service personnel don't deserve special treatment, they're doing a job the same as the rest of us, except they're better paid and with better pensions.

Thats not the same,I should imagine all the ex forces people on here feel as I do,the MOD is nothing like being in the forces
