Off sick and on £0 pay.......HELP ???

A work colleague who has been with RM for less than 1 year has recently as 2 weeks ago had accident and broken his wrist outside work.
He is on 20hr contract and last week while off sick had wage slip of £0 & this week week only £51 !!!
I thought that RM paid full sick even to those on newer contracts ?

PLEASE HELP ????

Nope - no sick pay in the first year - he needs to go job centre and see if he can get any benefits.

Trouble with that ideology cloherty is that genuine people who go sick, never actually know when they are going to be ill....it would be fraudulent to abuse, wouldn't it? Or are you someone who does? In which case it's not 'we' is it?

That's the thing shambles I don't often go sick and don't play the system. I have been here quite along time and know what I could get away with but I enjoy my job. Maybe it's I grew up with parents who were self employed and if you never went to work you never got paid.

I get colours sorry haven't a clue what they mean? Why would people be less fortunate than me. You don't know me and don't know them so what's your point. Oh on the sickness question my record is 47 days off in 25 years is that good of bad I don't care just I feel I turn up do my job and go home. Quiet a happy chappy.

We have a lot of scaremongering on here and people always think the worst. You know it doesn't always happen
