Trolls are best ignored although it does improve our hit rate.

If you think a member is a troll then ignore them. Or even use the RMC Friend/foe feature http://www.royalmailchat.co.uk/communit ... &mode=foes" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Foes are users which will be ignored by default. Posts by these users will not be fully visible. Personal messages from foes are still permitted. Please note that you cannot ignore moderators or administrators.

After God had finished the rattlesnake, the toad, and the vampire, he had some awful substance left with which he made a scab.

A scab is a two-legged animal with a corkscrew soul, a water brain, a combination backbone of jelly and glue.

Where others have hearts, he carries a tumor of rotten principles.

When a scab comes down the street, men turn their backs and angels weep in heaven, and the devil shuts the gates of hell to keep him out.

No man (or woman) has a right to scab so long as there is a pool of water to drown his carcass in, or a rope long enough to hang his body with.

Judas was a gentleman compared with a scab. For betraying his master, he had character enough to hang himself. A scab has not.

Esau sold his birthright for a mess of pottage.

Judas sold his Savior for thirty pieces of silver.

Benedict Arnold sold his country for a promise of a commision in the british army.

The scab sells his birthright, country, his wife, his children and his fellowmen for an unfulfilled promise from his employer.

Esau was a traitor to himself; Judas was a traitor to his God; Benedict Arnold was a traitor to his country.

A scab is a traitor to his God, his country, his family and his class.

Author --- Jack London (1876-1916)

So much animosity for 1 simple question.

Don't need to grow a set either as the pair I have work fine and oh yes I voted YES for strike action.

The reason I asked was because there's an older fellow in our office who doesn't have access to the Internet and he asked me how to go about working it, i mentioned asking our DOM but he doesn't want to go around asking people in our own office in fear off retaliation like many Posts on here since it was put on last night and as he trust me completely I said I would find out.

His wife need an Op which for best results need to be done Privately which is rather expensive and as he said an extra weeks wage would get them to there target a lot quicker..

We striking out of HATE as that's what RM have turned this Job into..

He wants to work out of Love for his wife..

Tough dilemma for the old fella eh?

So what happens if a colleague is a non union member and HAS to attend for work at the office when 98% of the office are out?

Scab surely not?

I ask because my mates gf isn't in the union and she is very worried about what her workmates attitude towards her might be

This is IF we strike of course

As posted all over RMC a non Union member is allowed to strike in a legal strike along with Union members. If Royal Mail did anything to her because she was a non union member and was striking it WOULD BE ILLEGAL. She WILL have the same protections as the rest of us.

Its not just me saying it either - the government say it https://www.gov.uk/if-your-business-fac ... nd-strikes" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Non-union staff and striking
If non-union members go on strike, they are protected from dismissal and have the same rights as union members, as long as the industrial action is lawful.

Wrong, people who scab generally don't seem to give a sh!t what people think of them and the few in my office certainly don't seem to be bothered one iota.

There's one exception though, she goes to another office but as others have said we found out the first day. People talk, if you're going to scab at least have the decency to walk past your colleagues.

are you volunteering to be one of the first.

One question does stand out why get rid of only half the idiots why not all the idiots.
