I worked in a supermarket before and the way they got around this was to make people up to a team leader and bully them into working 12 hours a day and I think this is what RM are planning except they will expect the OPG's to do this so I can see a bully's charter here. it will remain up to each of us to stand strong and not be bullied and get your colleagues to think the same way.

I won't be working until 4 or 5 PM, no way, I don't do OT now if I can help it. We have a few in our office who regularly work until 4 or 5PM now, and deliver on sundays. We have people booking 60 or 70 hours docket per week!

Of course they've been in every strike day, even when they were supposed to be on holiday. How they will manage when OT disappears is beyond me.

It is ironic that the people doing 12 hours a day now and that are going in on strike days are the ones who are going to lose out most as they will not get their 12 hour days anymore but will be expected to do it for nothing.

I only do my hours and sometimes cover my own walk on rest days if asked as this is a suitable arrangement for most as it means you can clear D2D's over 5 instead of 4 days and you know your walk will be done properly and not by a casual.

My walk usually takes me up to the time and at the moment I am not getting a break however I will be taking my break from Wednesday as there was a vote on a work to rule so I have the full backing of the union to take my break and cut off if necessary.

as of weds we'll now be having breaks scheduled into the morning work time...we cant get all the sorting done now as the night staff have all but been removed...when we actually get the break we are entitled to there is NO CHANCE the letters will be done in time...

Before now i would only work at pace so i could do overtime and not finish at 4-5pm...once the overtime goes ill be making sure i 'do my job properly' and get back to the office bang on 1415...

Oh and i was knocking out 25 hours docket each week as are quite a few in my office (some even more)...no chance of that now, so who's going to pick up the work we wouldve done on docket?

RM have shafted themselves big time on this one...HAHAHAHA!!!!

it seems to me that the strike breakers are the ones that do all the hours sent now, so are obviously in a better position than the rest of us in as much as they don't need to get home so cut off and let them finish it. In walking over our lines they have said they haven't got a problem with any of the changes so let them have them all!!

i'll admit i used to do a fair bit of OT but never out too late ;)
just picked the right days/duties ot do 1/2 walks
but i told them as soon as the late starts were announced that was me done.
same for the 'regular' guys on the OT

the polish part timers are doing them now but they get f****d over regularly with walks not put up for them so doubt that will last :Applause
