"Is it legal to bribe staff to break strike..."
An aside:
Angard Staffing Solutions LTD is actually a wholly owned subsidiary of the Royal Mail Group and one would expect that long standing Angard staff should receive FREE shares.

We are actually employees of the Royal Mail albeit on "zero hour" contracts!

Angard staff make up a sizeable proportion of the total 0f 150,00 staff.

Has anyone got any answers? Would this be discrimination of a set of employees?
What is the position for the casuals?????

:chuckle I must say, that Turkey looks too knackered from all that walking :left: to look in the least bit threatening, even with the axe....,in fact my main concern is that s/he might drop it on its foot, and end up a limping cripple like most of the poor delivery Posties are :cuppa

I'm angry as hell about the privatisation, but it's out of our, or anyone else's hands (will never vote Lib Dem again though) .It's stupid striking now for something that might, possibly, probably won't happen in three years time, Even Mao and Stalin only had five-year plans!

The only outcome will be a loss of much needed public sympathy. Let's keep our powder dry for the real fight in a few years time!

Sorry l8 the fight begins now ,moya was asked in Belfast would our conditions be safe after 3 yrs ,the reply was nobody knows whats ahead of us !!!!. PO want a NO STRIKE DEAL for those 3yrs so take that in hand .If there is a disagreement in the 2nd and 3rd yr we wouldn't be able to do anything about it because of the NO STRIKE DEAL

Okay so you are willing to give them:

Thousands from your Pension when you retire - the 5% cap on RPI.
A no strike deal up to Christmas
Sign up to a wishy washy "Industrial Stability" agreement that is in all but name a commitment to never strike whatever the reason.
Accept the unnamed agreement which will allow them to make efficiency savings. If you didn't like BT2010 why would you accept that with no details.

Thats fine if you are but I, we live in a supposed democracy, but I am not. I am saddened though that so many think this is a Privatisation dispute when it clearly isn't.
