Interview for data entry Christmas job

Post by Benefc123 »

Hello I have today had an email saying I have being invited for an interview at a royal mail centre in stoke for a Christmas job. I was just wondering what it is like as it says it's a face to face so is there the normal interview questions or do you just turn up give your papers and pick a shift. The email says the dress code is smart so should I go in a shirt and tie or go in jeans and a shirt as I have seen many people say that's all they wear. Also as I'm 17 would I get paid minuim wage £6 and hour or is it less as I'm not 18
Thanks

Pay will be discussed at the "interview" but it will be minimum wage for your age band or slightly higher, around £4 I think - check the government websites.

No normal interview questions. They check your paperwork and provided everything is correct you should get a shift offered, contract to sign etc.

Dress - shirt and trousers probably fine.
