xmas 2013 - photo ID?

Post by angiepie02 »

My friend applied to be a Christmas casual and has an interview for Thursday but he does not have any photo ID, is this necessary? We have to lug it all the way to Durham and pay the £120 charge for a new passport. Anyway around this?
Cheers :)

Think the alternative is/was birth certificate plus one of the photos signed and specifying it is a picture of the applicant by a person who is "acceptable" to sign them. The documentation/instructions should say this and give a list of people who they would accept as a signature - cant remember but the list is similar to that needed for Passport/Driving License photo signatories (e.g. someone who has known the applicant for a certain length of time and does any of the specified jobs).
