My office has the wallington agreement (1 week in six off) so it is possible for our rest weeks to fall during the xmas mayhem (as mine does this year).SpacePhoenix wrote:Same in MCs, I've always assumed that there was a blanket ban on any holidays during xmas pressure weeks throughout the countryOnAFlyer wrote: Annual leave in December?

F**k, I can hardly wait!
It's only the pleasure of a New day Every day fuelled by the utter and total incompetence of 'management' that'll keep me sane 'til then

F**k, I can hardly wait!

Re: WHO'S LOOKING FORWARD TO XMAS !!!!!!
Just had our revision, been in one week!, five hour+ delivery span that I was told would be only four hours 10 mins, many posties in our office running around like blue arse flies, still carrying pouches on their backs trying to make it work. Sorry, little Timmy, I ain`t Santa, your momma`s going to have to get in the car and go to the shops and fetch your flipping xbox one herself this year!!..

And that's a big part of the problem with the revisions, it makes them look like they work better then they do so why would the DOMs or planners change them?DICK43 wrote: many posties in our office running around like blue arse flies, still carrying pouches on their backs trying to make it work.

Re: WHO'S LOOKING FORWARD TO XMAS !!!!!!
with most offices now post revision with the problems that brings on "normal" heavy days, plus the negative feelings towards RM after the likely strikes I dont see many going the "extra mile" it seems the perfect storm to be Royal Mails worst performing Christmas ever. If you like overtime you should enjoy it ! :nana
