They're lucky if I get in on time, let alone early. I've worked at two offices now, one a very large office, one a small one, and in both offices (of the part-timers) I have been the last one in the door. Most of my fellow part-timers are halfway through bagging up by the time I touch-down on my frame.

In my office most of the rurals turn up past start time :Very Happy

Brilliant.

Still plenty of c***s in an hour early.

Confronted someone today about being in early. What's the point

difficult to say if it would stop the going in early lark but i'm sure an accurate method of assessing the amount of hours actually worked will be brought in. not necessarily clocking machines but there could be a way of using the time we log off / dock the PDAs to record the end of shift.
actually there are a lot of possibilities which could encourage people to work for all the hours the are paid. However even if positive changes which bring benefit to everyone are brought in some people will never learn

One of my mates used to work as a driver for Interlink about 5 years ago, he worked more hours than me (about 50 a week) but also earned over £100 per week more than I did at the time.

A self employed driver I know well regularly earns £600+ a week and over Christmas does £1k a week, but he works 7 days then and does a lot of hours.

There is potential beyond RM, but not working 37/38 hours a week there isn't.
