Quiet for time of year?

Any other MC's unusually quiet for the time of year?

Normally work picks up after the 6 weeks holidays,around beginning of September,but apart from Mondays the volumes seem down on previous years?

Anyone else,or just our MC?

Just you, we're rammed most days, mail is ok but packets are through the roof.......... around 12 yorks of packets today (not including tracked and specials) and all for just 30 duties.

Yeah packets are up think people are ordering stuff for Christmas early to avoid the strike. So should be an easy December this year!

Our packets (or parcels as Moya call them now ) are increasing every week, on another note I ordered some gear on line Tuesday @ 6.30pm just had it delivered by Hermes, part time lady using her car.

Mail wasn,t too heavy, but the call rate must have been well in the 90s percentage wise. What with Boots, JTF catalogues it was nearly every door, many just one bit of marketing stuff.

apparently we processed a record number of packets for our Mail centre Tuesday night!!! 200,000
not sure about letters and flats(large letters) though.
