email to ups..... wonder if i get a response...

have discovered today that the shipper is involved in bad business. no wonder they did not want to initiate the tracer because they will get found out that they have been delivering non existant or incorrect goods.

secondly, i am beginning to suspect that the shipper has deliberately changed my address to ensure that it would not get delivered because the address is non existant.

here is the link for the guardian newspaper from 3 days ago. please take the time to browse through it.. or if you feel a bit more comfortable, use a computer, type in google search extak.com and scroll down to the guardian newspaper link

http://www.theguardian.com/money/2013/s ... -wae-extak" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

can you confirm to me that the address that you have on your proof of delivery is not the same as i have registered with you? john ############, house number 999/ street address, ammanford, carmarthenshire sa18 3##

from what i can see what you had sent in the proof to me is that one letter has changed in my street address and you mention sa18 2 carmarthenshire ..

the last two letters of the postcode prefix is missing. how is it possible to deliver to an address with the prefix missing. two characters.

the name of the street will not have corresponded with the area your driver was on and allegedly delivered to.

you know as well as me how the postal system works. a letter to me could be addressed without a postcode at all as long as it has the house number and steet namem but still will eventually get delivered to me. if a letter has no address on it but has the house number and postcode, that will get delivered because it has the full prefix.

what will not get delivered is if someone sent me a letter addressed john 999, sa18 3.. if my surname was on it, maybe a local postal worker will know at discretion. if there were three people with the same names, that could be problematic, but there is always a way to ascertain something by decuction, and that is only by local knowlege.

a local postal worker would have recognised that my street does not have the prefix of sa18 2 when it is on the address label. they would have recognised that the street name would not have corresponded to a different area if it was still located in ammanford. the postal worker may well have recognised my name, but as courier rules state, the postcode is what they work on, even if they know it is for me by name and street address, but because of the omitted characters of the postcode, they cannot do so unless they use discretion and make an enquiry. but that would only happen if they know me personally, and are satisfied it is for me.

however, it is still inconceivable or understandable how your system is saying that it was left at mailbox at an incomplete postcode prefix. technically the address does not exist. so how does your driver know where to deliver it to when they are sailing blind because the postcode is incomplete and does not exist?

my street name exists or even the mispelt one exists as they are both the same.. what does not exist is sa18 2 ... there is no street prefix to it, because there is no letsbeavenue in that prefix. when the label states letbeavenue, what sense does it make to find a location inside sa18 2 when there is no letbeavenue there at all. they would not match up if the driver delivered to number 80 caemawr or colonel road, or betws road, or heol y felin. or somewhere in pontamman. so how come you have delivered to an address that has no full prefix. it is not a deliverable address because the name of my steet does not exist in the area where the driver was.

for example, sa18 3 does not exist as a full deliverable address. sa18 3b could be deliverable, but the postal staff will know that 80 letsbe avenue is the area for sa18 3.. if someone wrote an address as 80 letsbe avenue sa18, that will probably get delivered .. or even sa18 3g will get delivered... only because the deliverer knows the street names etc and the prefixes.

what will not get delivered to ammanford is if the prefix os just stated sa1, as that is swansea. especially if it number 66 high st or wind st, as both have those streets. but depending what the name is on the envelope or label

but, if a printed letter was attempted to be delivered by a courier such as ups, and had 80 letsbe avanue sa18 2, that would concern royal mail if they were delivering something but will eventually work out the error by deduction. with ups who have no idea about the error.. or in this case, the misleading error.

we will need to retrieve that package now as evidence. or you will need to speak to that driver immediately to find out exactly what became of that package.

the shipper is not going to initaite the tracer for obvious reasons. the sad part is that they have used your company. many customers have become victims of this company, and it is no wonder that their items have also not been delivered.

ups were not to know what's been going on inside that company. ups were not to know that my address has been changed by one letter in the steet name.

i am suprised that ups have allegedly delivered to an incomplete and incorrect address. didn't anyone notice the incomplete postcode? if so, what course of action would they have taken?

i need that package to prove as evidence and a pursuit of recompense. especially in the case of deception. i need to ascertain what exactly is inside that package before i can pursue the matter with trading standards.

from what i gather, you are not co-operating when i requested you to converse with the driver to see if it can be remebered where exactly the package went to. and when you are doing that, you are preventing a form of justice and investigation and allowing this company to carry on doing the same to others.

unless you can provide a solution to this matter, i would welcome one of your reps to visit. as i was saying before, sa18 2 is about a mile away and continues for about 3 miles. there is no other letsbeavenue or letsbyavenue elsewhere. and the only people who would know that are the ones who are accustomed to the area and the locals.

as far as i am concerned, the driver may just well have gone to any old house in any old street somewhere in that area just to get it delivered. but as you have stated that it is has been delivered, how and to who? there are two letters mising from the postcode, so how does the driver estimate which house to deliver to? he or she cannot deliver to mumber 80 letsbeavenue in betws because there is no letsbeavenue in sa18 2.. there is no letsbeavenue in sa18 1, sa18 4, sa18 5 and so on.. it only exists in sa18 3, nowhere else but sa18 3. and as sa8 3 is a mile away from sa18 2, how on earth has this occured. there is no other similar sounding street names to confuse it with

as i am saying, there is an incomplete prefix, so how is it possibe to deliver to an accurate address without the full postcode, especially when the house number and street name is a mile away at least. the only thing i can think of, ups have realised there is a problem, they only know the sa18 2 is in betws stretching to glanmman and they cross that vridge when they come to it.. so if they have no full prefixa nd attempt to use some form of deduction, how is it possibe to deduce when there is no same street name or an identical one?

your own gps system wouldn't have recognised the sa18 2 prefix as it's incomplete. so how on earth is a driver expected to deliver to somewhere where they don't know where to put it. the only other solution is by manually reading the label. and by reading the address manually would have revealed that the street name does not exist in the area the driver is in and caused a problem. so how is it possible to deliver to letsbe avanue in betws when it does not exist there and is actually located a mile away. but the driver does not know this?

unless the driver had been driving around looking for letbyavenue in betws which is a mile away, and quite a large area. a person who is accustomed to ammanford, will know that letsbeavenue is not in betws. a taxi driver will know it is not there. the police know it's not there, the postal worker knows it's not there. everybody knows it's not there except ups.

then again, a taxi driver from swansea 18 miles away will not know that letbeavenue is not in betws, and would be driving around frustrated looking for it. so if an ups driver from swansea was assigned to ammanford with not much knowlege of the area, what is the usual practice of missing prefixes?

As far as I know, Royal Mail's PDAs record the co-ordinates of where the delivery takes place (to stop you scanning all of the items as delivered before you leave the office, for one thing). You would think that UPS would have something similar and could check precisely where your package was handed over?

barrowc, i did mention to ups what's happened and i mentioned to them it would be far quicker if you just ask the driver where he had been just in case he/she may remember. but ups said i have to contact the company to initaite the tracinng facility. and soon as i ask them to do that, they immediately cancelled the order. now, why would they want to do that.

what would you do if you had a parcel, packet or a postcard that just contains a house number, a street name, the area code and a partial locality code. or in my case, a deleted local area code.

tbh, i would have taken it back to depot and leave them sort it out.

anyway, in the meantime, i been doing more research. the original extak.com had been trading, no contoversy, pretty quite.
but the other company also in birmingham called WeAreElecricals had been causing choas and carnage for years, parcels going missing, people not having their refunds etc etc.

so, when WeAreElectricals (wae) went into liquidation, they formed a new company called wae+ .. then the chaos continued, parcles not being delivered, people weren't getting their refunds etc etc. not just the odd one or two now and then, but thousands and thousands of disatisified consumers.
birmingham trading standards couldn't do much. people were contacting their own area trading standards and were told it's out of thier area, contact birmingham. and when they contact birmingham trading standards, they say you are not in their area.

anyway, as i was saying, the original extak were pretty quiet, even in july this year they were quiet. so, what's changed? on august 1st, the two directors of wae+ resigned. who initiated the liquidation? the creditor in birmingham say it wasn't them who called in the loan. even in august extak were quiet, but things were noticed during the last week or so of august. how come?

this is why i could not find anything untoward on extak on aug 23rd when i did a quick search, nothing was going on. who started working for extak? yes, the two directors from the other liquidated wae+ ... and as soon as they got in, the chaos is starting all over again.

the liquidated wae+ had appointed a new chief exec from outside the eu, so they can't touch him.

the owner of the original extak must have known what's been going on with WeAreElectrical and wae+. how the heck did those two get into extak? what were the circumstances. from what i see, the original extak is now sullied.

make of what it as you see fit - http://www.theguardian.com/money/2013/s ... -wae-extak" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

then again, who the hell are big shed europe, a dormany company? The latest Annual Accounts submitted to Companies House for the year up to 31/12/2012 reported 'cash at bank' of £0, 'liabilities' worth £0, 'net worth' of £0 and 'assets' worth £0. Big Shed Europe Limited's risk score was amended on 26/06/2013.

also, who are these? big shed trading apr 2013

SUMAN-ROY Same person was ecommerce manager of WAE+ before it went into administration (Sept 2nd). WAE+ former directors B.Slater and D.Cresswell are co-directors of Big Shed Europe Ltd which also lists Mr. Roy as a director.Extak has been running since Jan2012 and is still currently trading. Its warehouse is the same building as the previous WAE & first WAE+ warehouse.

suman roy is the original extak director. like i was saying, pretty quiet for years, free from controversy.

what this turn90 is is unsure, the same two directors who resigned from wae+ and went over to extak -
https://www.duedil.com/company/07402194 ... ted/people" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

in other words, the original extak seemed to be ok, now they would be labelled WeAreElectricals 3 because of those two.

what are the chances of another liquidation coming up?

still doesn't explain why my name was omitted from the address albel, one letter altered in my steet address, one number changed in the postcode, and the remaining two letters of the prefix deleted.

wonder if there were two scams? one scam the customer. second scam the courier as well for the missing parcel that's been sent on a wildgoose chase.
then again, what's inside the parcel? nobody will know. if the courier took it back to the depot and declared it delivered, that is a problem. you can't trust him. if the courier bunged it into any old house just to get shot of it, they can't be trusted if he chucked it in a river and signed it off as delivered, can't be trusted. either way they're fecked. and if they're being told not to bring back any undelivereds, the system is fecked.

that's why i asked ups just ask the driver for gawds sakes, it'll be quicker and maybe not even expose the situation you are in.

they really should have taken it back to depot and initialize something.

say for example there were two acacia avenues in the ammanford area, one in ammanford and the other in garnant 3 miles away. the courier has a parcel to 169 acacia avenue, sa18 2 ... some areas of ammanford itself actually is in the sa18 2 area. but also, some parts of garnant falls under sa18 2
what do you do? obviously knock on the door and ask if you expecting a parcel? what happens if they both say yes? then ask who it's from? if there is no return label on the back, what do you do? As i was saying in my case, they didn't even bother printing my name on the address label, but how come?

luckily there are no two acacia avenues in the sa18 2 area, so the power of deduction is easier to work on.. from the couriers point of view, as far as they maybe concerned, the street address is wrong. but that still does not explain the hypothesis of where to put a letter that basically has got sa18 2 on it.

have a think about it or compare it to your won area.. look at your postcode and replace the 2nd prefix number with another and delete the last two letters.

headwork. i am a bit suprised that if it has been delivered to someone, i would have thought the someone may have just come round and find out where in ammanford acacia avenue is, and ask is this yours?

then again, someone may have opened it and kept it..or sold it for cash... then again, if it is a counterfeit or non uk compliant, it may well mess up someone's computer. then again it could well be posted to an empty house

not only this company is scamming, they are messing with people's heads.

i had a look at the map for sa18 2, i first thought it was betws stretching up to the beginning of glanamman. then i was realsing wft? llandybie, some other parts of ammanford, derwydd, glynhir golf club, llandyfan, garnswllt, garnant..even the scotch pine oub and ammanford police station.... nightmare

sa18 2 looks like an area 6 miles long and 3 miles wide.. woefully underestimated. think i'll just ask the bank to recover the payment, bollox to it. trading standards won't do owt anyway. but it has exposed how unprotected internet shopping is. and these two have manipulated the system.

how much time and money is involved and wasted in dealing with these missing and undelivered parcels. plus the banks time, and public money, council tax payers money being spent through trading standrads, who didn't do anything anyway, so what's the point of them

i've heard of the game find the parcel but this would be ridiculous. what i think they've slipped up on is by having my house number and the slightly mispelt street name.

i don't think the original extak is as quiet as thought. the company may have been quiet, but the director joined up with wae+ (weAreElectricals plus) before they were liquidated. (even though the creditor didn't call in the loan).

could this be where the addresses get changed? i've read that extak open the packages sent from the suppplier for inspection prior to sending to the customer
well, that sounds odd as many many components and products are sealed by the manufacturer anyway. i wouldn't be happy to use a memory card that's been opened, you won't be able to reseal it anyways.. and no way would i touch a hard drive that's been plugged into their computer, their computer could be infected.

what are the chances of scamming the courier as well as the customer?

send out a cheap imitation, print an undeliverable address, pocket the difference, customer says it's lost, company claims from courier. buy an imitaion for £10, charge £40, claim £40 from the courier.. £10 profit

or if they get a bit more brassy, repeat the process, until they run out of couriers. the only way for it to work as well is not to have a return address and have no invoice inside so it can't be traced back to them.

could it work by sending out the real thing? if they buy the real item say for £25, add vat, sell for £30.. it doesn't get delivered on purpose.
customer is fuming, extak say don't worry, we'll send another. extak claim from the courier for loss... but courier may not well pay out when customer says oi, wtf is going on here with me parcel? if customer doesn't rake up a fuss, nobody knows any wiser.

so, extak get £30 back. they haven't lost anything, they haven't gained anything so what the hell is it all about? unless it's vat scam, non EC executive and all that. then again, it could be easy to make a forgery, buy a genuine outer casing and bung in over a cheap imitation, who's to know?

another way to look at a scam is person 1 buys something £90, has nothing delivered. person 2 buys something for £60. person 2's £60 is used to part refund person 1... and on it goes until you get so many people buying you don't know where the hell you are.

there's a group picture of them all on the net, kids, waifs and straifs by the looks. how the heck have these two nerdy looking fellas managed to cause all that chaos. looking at them, i wouldn't have them brushing the floor. if pcworld did this, i'd think there'd be more in the media, but because extak are small from brimingham, not much gets said.. and thanks to the guardian they've been rumbled. but the problem is, the guardian first reported on wae+ in 2011, which oponed a floodgate of complaints.. so how's it allowed to be continued? and worse still, the same problems continue with extak because the liquidated wae+ have joined up with extak.

have they been scamming rm in the past? and the future.

anyway, i contacted the bank, they said they're going to look into it and claim my money from them. too weird for my liking

and some poor sod at the courier may well get interrogated all because of them. as far as internal are concerned, the courier may well have altered the delivery note but they should just be only following what's on the address label.

extak swear to the customer the correct registration details are on the parcel, the courier thinks the address is correct and none the wiser. the customer services at the courier assume that the address is correct on their delivery note.... until the customer points out the discrepancy.
and then maybe the courier will assume the buyer is up to something

so, where does the courier go from here? they could ask the seller for the registration details of the customer, but may not even get it because of data protection. the only other avenue is that the customer asks the seller for the registry details by email then forwards it to the courier.

either way the driver will get it or the buyer will come under suspicion as well ffs ...until it gets sorted out. inside the dark vaults of the courier they are operating.

it still doesn't explain why extak immediately cancelled the order when the request to initiate the track and trace took place. any other sane person would want the parcel to be traced unless they don't want it to be found
