Well it's safe to say, I joined because of this strike (which I must admit is very annoying to say the least) and no, I'm not an employee of the Royal Mail or its subsidiaries.

Personally, my underlying belief is that the Royal Mail should be re-owned entirely by the Government (no PLC) cos this current format of ownership isn't working, too much striking and not enough to be done to prevent it or during it or even after a strike (so many backlogs of post), also if the Government doesn't want to own the entire Royal Mail company and kick away its "alliance" with Consigne PLC and make Royal mail a department of the Government, then change the name to UKPS (United Kingdom Postal Service) or UK Posts or something, it's too "sad" to see such a company not living up to the "Royal" in Royal Mail.
