Wore a pedometer on my new delivery when P&L came in last year. 17500 steps which equated to roughly 7.75 miles in 4 hours. No idea how fast I was walking though.

The last time I did a Coopers test, I did 2500m in 12 minutes.........that puts me in the very good range for my age (and a VO2max of over 44mls/kg/min)........and that only works out at just over 7 mph.

If you can do that then you should go for the olympics.......you'd do great :Very Happy

No Jimmy it is absolute bullshit from start to finish.
Perhaps if you shoved your pedometer up your arse and gave us the results from that, they might be more credible.

Jimmy - 8mph is faster than a world record holding Olympic gold winning athlete can walk.
A 7 year old cannot walk a mile in 10 minutes.

You must be seriously overestimating the distances involved.

If you can walk a mile to the start of your duty in 8 minutes you are walking at half the speed a 4 minute miler runs.
It isn't very likely is it.

I mapped the duty I covered today on mapmyrun.
The basic duty was just over 3 miles. Add on approx. 500 x 20m for the garden paths = approx. 4miles in total including walking there and back to the DO.

3h 30 for the duty means my average walking speed was just over 1mph.
