Getting what for free?
You pay your union fees for personal representation and access to union facilities which non members don't get.
The rest is achieved through solidarity and even non members can play their part in that.
Anyone who crosses a picket line undermines that solidarity and unfortunately that can include both members and non members.
Paying £3+ a week does not make you a good trade unionist,In some cases it just means you are a s**t trade unionist with £3 to spend.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

That would be interesting and would labour reverse it?
