No need for applause I've been on strike many times not just at Royal Mail and age brings a wisdom with experience, there's not a lot of mileage in striking these days because the solidarity isn't there but you still have to take the stance win, lose or draw. Unlike many of my colleagues on short contracts with families and mortgages to pay and no savings this is going to be a hard decision one that many of us took in the past when we were in the same position but I am just thankful I'm not in that position now.

Just got my ballot paper,I support the cause but cannot afford to strike like a lot of people in my office, we are also fed up with all the paperwork bombarding me from both sides all desperate to put their point ,then threats the boring RMTV were they talk down tu us and are so patronising. Have dealt with my paper, let's hope all goes well

I have voted YES for the following reasons
Pay 8.6% over three years when the business is raking in 5% a year is a poor deal for us all.
Pensions when our directors are getting £200,000 or £171,000 in pension payments year on year yet they cannot afford ours?
A fair days work for the pay we have earned yet more impositions (lapsing) non payment of due overtime!
A company who want's to grow this not a company to squeeze us all instead of GROWTH and CUTOMER SERVICE!
Our term's and conditions it was not Moya Greene who made this public service a business it was YOU every ONE of YOU!
WHY SHOULD YOU PAY THE PRICE OF CAPITALISATION FOR THE FEW!
