Its true, the PA area rep was telling all the little offices he represents that going in for them would not make much difference nationally as the mail wouldnt be getting to them so no point in them loosing a days wage

this rep should have been replaced at election time, if this didnt happen because he got voted in or, worse nobody stood against them then that is a shame

The branch is about as corrupt as him, they all have full time release and support anything that local management want they have the whole place stitched up, reps allocating overtime for mates in the glasgow mail centre, the PA area rep agreeing a work rate of 107% even when we went above him to branch no notice was taken, and nationally we never got a reply except to take it up localy to multiple letters, they tried to get a rep the sack when he challenged them for posts, amoung other things they have even tried and suceeded in getting posties who speak up the sack! Glasgow Amal is corrupt

Perhaps we should all consider working to rule up until the strike

unfortunately that is also considered by law as industrial action and you would need to have a vote for that as well

Not if you do the job properly IE to the specification of the duty weigh your bags take your breaks and don't start before your time or go over your time without pay!.

and that's a f***ing joke tell me an office that does the job properly most come in early run around in the office then run around when there out this will never work in any shape or form there is only one way forward get behind the union say yes and strike

No point going on strike if you clear all the work for free the next day one will not work without the other will it not!. ALL GOOD WILL OVER-TIME SHOULD BE STOPPED ASWELL!
