Now we have lost the £300 on offer as privatisation will happen shortly and also what will the pay offer be as they have privatised us. Remember it was 2.6% in year 1 and a possible 8.2% over 3 years. Do you now think it could possibly a lower pay deal on offer and remember terms protected for 3 years too maybe that could be reduced too. The union are negotiating on the back foot now so do you have faith in the deal that will be on offer soon. Hopefully they will call a meeting of union leaders soon to sort out a plan?

Very few at our place will strike and I suspect that those who do strike around the country will only strike for a few days.

Nobody ever wants to strike, its the last resort of every working person to get their voice heard, but today RM have issued shares for sale, basically RM and the Government have just stuck two fingers up to every person working in RM.
I am not sure we can stop privatisation when facing a Government that is determined to get as much cash into the chancellors pocket as it can to make themselves look good at the next election, and one that has such contempt for ordinary working people, but I am begging everyone who is thinking of voting no in the ballet to please please vote YES, we need a massive YES vote to allow the CWU to get everyone working in RM the best and longest deal it can, chances are that Moya and her gang have already got an improved deal waiting, they are just waiting to see the ballot result, failure to get a massive yet vote will put every single persons job and conditions under threat within 2 years, that's not scaremongering its fact.
If you want less pay, part time hours, 0 contract hours, worse employment conditions and possibly no job then vote No. But please lets all stick together and show Moya and this Con/Lib s**t government that we are determined to fight, we made this company not the absolute incompetent morons at the top that have led this company to near destruction.

I totally agree with you and if it's not a big yes vote and high turnout I really don't know what the offer will be,no good for us. The only thing please include the Labour Party in with the Tories and lib dems as they all wanted this one way or the other..

BBC news- Banks agree to buy over 50% of the shares. If there was ever a time for the CWU to get a massive yes vote, this is it. Banks, can it get any worse, the people in charge of these companies would sell there own grand mother for a few quid. What a downer.

Its probably no secret that the business are using this site to create unease and uncertainty, most anti-strike posts are planted by Royal Mail. The propaganda campaign by Royal Mail has reached epic proportions.instead of persuading me how fantastic it would be to hand over the fruits of my labour to dividend driven parasites it has shown me that they would sell their granny for a quick buck rather than stand by their pie crust promises. Don't give these ghost posters the oxygen of publicity, instead lets make sure that every ounce of energy is put into achieving a massive YES vote. This is the only way we will secure our future. It's strange how on the eve of us going on strike we suddenly have on the board some posties asking why we should strike,
I was one of the guys who was out on strike in 71 for 7 weeks and I only have 2 years to go but my heart goes out to all our post people who are going to be shafted by this government and Royal Mail management.
Nobody wants to go on strike and lose money but a massive vote for strike action is what we need to show them we wil fight for our jobs and conditions,if the union don't get a good majority then god help us.

I to have only a few yrs left and I could so easily say stuff it ,but I COULDNT do that I will be on the gate alongside my mates .and after the strike I would be able to look my mates in the eye come on lads stick together on this one .I know the union let us down on the last one but this is far more important than all the other strikes weve had .
