That's fantastic news.

I really do think the legalities of this new start time need to be gone over with a fine toothcomb. I guess Antrim will lead the way with this..congrats!! :Applause

Surely exec action can't be imposed under the terms of the current IR framework. I always thought the IR framework had to be exhausted before exec action. If both parties are currently discussing the dispute, then the IR framework hasn't been exhausted?????????????

Somebody has to make a stand?

Post by irishstaff »

To all who read this I am making a point, we have been on strike 3-4days, yet when everyone goes back to there offices you have to agreed to start at Royal Mail times, excuse me for being a little slow but who agreed these time changes and what national+local agreedment will I fine this, does this mean that the days we stood in the street our for nothing, so what chance do we stand if we want to fight about the job we do when we have already agreed to start at there times! Antrim has set out its stall and declared to enter into the battle.......will the win who no"s but show support to them? Its not nice when you have some strike breakers walking pass you on the picket line and blaming You for not going to work for the Employer who want"s to take away everything including your soul! which happen at there picket line. They our a LITTLE office with a BIG heart who have decided to make a stand, Just today the LOCAL MANAGEMENT sent the Police to a Posties Home, Y because they told the Management they will not be going to work on Wednesday at there times the Management viewed this as a threat and the rest is history.......Which will happen to this Industry if LITTLE DELIVERY OFFICES like them dont make a STAND? Remember they have NO BRANCH to turn to...somebody has already seen to that, who will by the way cliam there Victory if they WIN....I will do everything in my power to help them achieve it. So show your full support to ANTRIM part of the X /N.IrelandNo1 Branch....strenght and honour to these Posties......
