So it's over 30 miles to your 1st drop, what county are you in?ploppy wrote:139 miles but just over half of that is driving to the first call and returning from the last so the actual miles done delivering is only about 65 miles.

Re: Miles covered on the rural...
its 22 miles to first drop and 50 miles return from last drop.rural northumberland has quite a few duties that do lots of miles, i believe that mine is average. i know of some that do up to the scottish border are probably nearer 200 miles.Bahia Feliz wrote:So it's over 30 miles to your 1st drop, what county are you in?ploppy wrote:139 miles but just over half of that is driving to the first call and returning from the last so the actual miles done delivering is only about 65 miles.

Measure it today, 109 miles in total. All ours include driving to office then out to first call and then home. Mine would be about 80 odd from first call to last.Lounge Lizard wrote:120 miles means 24 mph for finishing within five hours, so can't be many delivery points to hinder their progress then.luddite wrote:120 miles is our longest, mine's around 100.
