There are probably more who don't believe everything that royal mail tells them and are aware of the other side of the argument but are inclined not to strike mainly because they don't believe the CWU will win this time and also because they remember what happened with the strikes four years ago.
I will respect a 'yes' vote but just about everyone else in my, albeit small, office has said that they won't strike this time, annoyingly saying that they "can't afford to".

This from an unnamed source.
Calderway is an utter joke. WCM has caused more issues than it has solved and they're not supposed to go live with it till next month.

The office is a tip, stuff shoved all over the place, notice boards covering every spare bit of wall space, so much that you would never be able to read everything. So much fluff put up its getting daft.

They got pulled apart in the last audit, atrocious doesn't even cover it. Complete failure.
and of course on the OFFICES WITH A FAILING REVISION:LIST at no 29 is ........ CALDERWAY :left: it was one of the originals. Who would have guessed.

Yep, i return mine every month...refused.

I also write on it something like 'Please stop sending me this sh1t and take me off your mailing list'

My manager was told to reprimand me for this but he wouldn't as he found it funny.

I now tell them to 'Stop sending me this propaganda'

It's a waste of Moya's potential bonus.

Who can i report the Courier to for continuing to send me the rag after I've expressly asked them to remove me from their mailing list?

The intimidating style of management will never stop UNLESS people take action. In a DO that shows solidarity and where the posties back each other up B&H stops, We do have more power than them, if only people realise it and use it stop unacceptable behaviour.
Spot on TBT, trouble is trying TO convince people to take ACTION - without trying to put too much pressure on folk - without it bordering harassment ,I have tried talking to various people and the answer always come back the same - 'can do without the hassle' 'my contract wont get renewed' the list goes on......

Its soul destroying to see people taking absorption/lapsing for granted and working beyond their contracted hours for free, its soul destroying to see people forced to do overtime but that's the way it is in our office.. the union can only advise- but it falls on deaf ears.

One bloke told me he asked the DOM if he could have his bank holidays back he was owed, the DOMs reply was... " I don't know why I ever taken you on" that was just for asking what was rightly his...of course the DOM was only concerned about his budget & bonus.

To work in a delivery office that shows solidarity must be utopia :pray :pray :pray :pray :pray :pray :pray :pray :pray
