No deal has been agreed. So, at this point, I'd say no.
But, the date would be agreed in any deal. Though RM would now be likely to put it back as far as possible.

Though I'd also say I can't see the CWU even putting an agreement to us for voting on with this clause in it.

Could someone please explain. As I understand the £300 will not be paid if ANYONE in the office strikes. Once again the majority in my office are talking of not striking.
Getting all exited about the £300. It would be nice to wipe the smile off their face, by telling them they won't be getting their money due to the few of us going on strike.

In 2013-14, in addition to a 2.6%base pay increase there would be a non-consolidated lump sum of£300 (pro-rata for part-timer employees).It will be paid in December 2013. This is subject to a successful transaction before the end of the year. This payment will be forfeited in offices where industrial action takes place between now and the date of payment.

They won't be getting that money due to the fact that the deal was rejected.
Will a new deal if accepted by the membership contain something similar?
Possibly but I doubt it will have a "no strike" clause involved,if it did the union might as well shut up shop and go find something better to do with their time because they would be short at least one member...me.
Do your colleagues a favour,tell them to forget about offers that have already been thrown out and concentrate on supporting the union to get an agreement worth accepting.

Fishtank are they talking about the pay deal at the moment or both sides are just miles apart? I think that obviously the privatisation could be done in next 4 weeks and that would mean no lump sum being paid as in previous offer. They would not raise the 2.6% by much so obviously we would undoubtedly Lose out both ways!

As I understand it, and there has been no clarification on the subject, the £300 includes the £200 Christmas Bonus which was negotiated prior to privatisation or am I wrong - in which case we should be getting £500 at Christmas - pro rata of course.

I expect this to be £500 in total but the union won't clarify this as I suppose it weakens there position as people will be tempted by this at Xmas time. They just say deal rejected..

I wouldn't succumb to the £300 bribe and the threat of withdrawing it in the event of a strike, its no more than a crude attempt to scare you, there is the bigger picture to consider, THEY are more desperate than we are, they want to sell with minimal disruption, we DON'T want to sell any disruption that helps to delay it, all the better !

Don't fall for the threat to withdraw £300, we have the upper hand and can wring out better concessions from them, remember they still haven't paid all of the revision money mine included, so I wouldn't trust them to keep to this one, hit them hard and hit them when they are down and keep kicking until we get a cast iron agreement from them.

a cast iron agreement what like the last agreement when we had the upper hand and was told to back down.
this union needs a major shake-up and it looks as if this next vote will prove it.

That I understand BUT would you not think that RM would be trumpeting £500 as opposed to £300 which is only £100 more less tax insurance AND pro rata so whichever it is it don't amount to a hill of beans.
