I applied on the 2nd as well and still nothing. Been a casual two times before. Applied at Manchester per usual but nothing. A little worried, I had received the documents and the interview much earlier last year.

i do wonder if its the shift i picked on application (lates) only cause i applied on the 17th sept last year and i didnt start till the 26th nov (and this is swansea)

I got a text inviting me to book my registration this afternoon and have now done so. However, in the same manner as last year, emails are coming through to my RM account but not to my ISP email address. Consequently the link to the documents you need to print out is missing in the email in my RM inbox. Presumably you can use the same documents from the link that was provided in one of the threads last year?

Getting extremely worried over here to, turned down a job to be a xmas casual (going overseas for a year next year) so I hope they recruit soon.

For those who had interviews in September last year, when did you start?

Initially applied on 3rd September.

Ask to reapply on the 9th September due to a technical error their end. Reapplied the same day.

E-mailed on the 18th September concerning a registration event on the 4th October.

ps. This is for a mail sorter position in St. Albans, Hertfordshire.

applied on the 17th sept...interview on the 22nd could have started in october for nights but i got children so i took the lates which started 26th november....hope this helps

Anyone applied for Edinburgh MC, and have a status other than "Application Received"? I applied on the 2ns September. Worked there as a casual last year, but didn't apply til the 30th September, had registration event around 15th October and started a month after that.

Same situation as me, also edinburgh(bathgate year before) still on "application recieved". I applied on the 6th, i didn't get the email for a few weeks later last year.

I received 3 duplicate emails with the same content today from The Royal Mail in my email folder saying

Dear Daniel,

"Thank you for your interest in working for Royal Mail this Christmas. We endeavour to respond to every single Christmas application that we receive. However, if you have not heard from us by the 25th October 2013 then unfortunately we have been unable to find a role for you this year."

It doesn't look promising for me on this occasion. Last year and the year before I had received the documents on the 16th and the interview booking in sheet on the 17th, and with many stating that they have already booked in for interviews, it's looking all the more likely that my application received is going to switch to application unsuccessful in the next few weeks. Not that I can understand why, because I did the job very well for the past two years.

Has anyone in the Manchester area received any update on their application? Attachment documents/booking slot?

Applied at the greenford mail & sorting centre.

Everyone I know who applied has had similar emails. Wouldn't look into it too much, positive thing is at least they have received the applications.

Yes, I got the email too. This time it went through to my own email inbox, but doesn't show up in my RM emails. Usually the other way round! I have never had this email before, it's always the registration event email, asking to pick a time at the local event.
