Think of postman pat had a van and a cat in 1970s tv and it was not until he late 90s we had a golf trolley to pull the mail. Now we have a shiny van for the delivery staff..
ha ha.
your a complete t1t if you believe that.
bt british gas etc are scummy companies for instance.
let go into a little bit of detail.
BG...needed to get a new gas line installed a few years ago in a property i was renovating.
Took the day off ...and you know how hard they can be to get when you need them.
twat sneaks upto the door doesnt ring the bell and slips a note through the door....."i called but you were out"...like **** was i out.
had to take another day off and a lot of fuming on the blower to make sure these *****s didnt waste me another day off.
BT....bought out plusnet ..not sure exactly ...this went under the radar a bit.
plusnet were a brilliant isp who served the gaming comunity very well...we paid a little extra but it was worth it.
along came bt made changes and oversell the product and having to deal with a lot more customers at a lower price..meaning a lot more congestion.
why ruin the last bastion of isps which cared for gamers properly?
they saw a chance of grabbing another slice of the market but destroyed what that company stood for.
go figure
you lot will be bent over to people wanting dividends......explain why that money should not be pumped back into the company and back to the tax payer???

Not happy about the rules of shares - I don't want to lose them if I leave within 3 years. I object the golden handcuff.

Yes free shares that you can cash-in in three years time. That rings a bell!!!
You'll still get people falling for it again sadly

"If you leave within three years after being given the Free Shares you will lose the shares" - so if you're within three years of retirement age you might as well not have them.
They kept that quiet.

Well at this rate I'll be retired before I get them...........so lets get a move on and get this over with, I'll get my shares, retire and sit in my armchair with pipe and slippers and watch them rocket through the roof on a daily basis and spend my time converting the %age increase into £s shillings and penceUnhappyGremlin wrote:I think you get to keep them if you retire.Lounge Lizard wrote:"If you leave within three years after being given the Free Shares you will lose the shares" - so if you're within three years of retirement age you might as well not have them. They kept that quiet.

Re: Shares - what a joke
if you think it will work then you must have forgotten what happened to all the other national companies that were privatised.
they lost thousands of jobs and are now owned by foreign investors who are only interested in profit. oh and all your bills increased at a faster rate than inflation
when we are privatised we will all want our free
shares to go up not down but at what cost and how many jobs!!!

No I haven't forgotten I worked in the ESI and lost my job on privatisation though with a reasonable payoff. Jobs went by the hundreds, the service got worse, the prices went up, there was aspects of the service contracted out and will RM be any different? No, it'll take time but jobs will go, the service, if it could get any worse it will, and prices will be hiked up and up.martin the green wrote:if you think it will work then you must have forgotten what happened to all the other national companies that were privatised.
