There will be no majority shareholder?
YET.
It will take time, but some company/fund will target the shares and end up a majority shareholder.
There is just so much money they can make out of RM, they won't resist. Can't.

well teebs, i noticed from you're op it says we're to be balloted on the 20th. and first available strike action to be october 10th. does this now mean that the 'delay to strike/ia ballot has now been lifted, and we are now going to stick to the original timescale.???

i thought the ballot on the 20th had been pulled, because as dave ward said, the union had received correspondence from rm, so the union lawyers were going through everything with 'a fine tooth comb' to make sure everything was in order,, thereby delaying the original date. it was on itv news as well.

No the notice which was to give 7 days notice to the employer in line with the trade union laws was pulled. The notice will be served on the 20th and the ballot papers will be dispatched on the 27th. The union will have to show Royal Mail what the question on the ballot paper is 3 days before the papers are dispatched.
