She can be proud of her DadJ wrote:My Daughter at our last bout of IA last Wednesday at my MC.
I deliberately have not pictured anyone else as then people can't get into bother.
Now, she knew the pic would be on here and she is a non-Royal Mail person and it does not derogatise the company whatsoever so I reckon this pic is spot on.
Just good to see my daughter supporting her dad's cause!!!!
She loved it on the picket line and everyone made her feel welcome!!!

Just a quick reminder to all the newbies, and the oldies in case they have forgotten.
POSTMAN wrote:For 'obvious' and 'just in case' reasons we can't have pics or videos of 'strike breakers' on the site of any kind.
That includes CWU members, non CWU members,Managers and so on.
But there is no problem with having pics of the picket line and people who are involved with the strike. (Ask their permission)
I will be taking my camera and hope to post a few pics up.
And you can send the pics/videos to me if you want to be anonymous and i'll post them up for you.
PLEASE NOTE:
Any pics/videos you post up we will assume that you have the permission of everybody who is in it.
Any pic/videos that accidently show strike breakers ect in it will be deleted.
Do not post any links to YouTube ect that have strike breakers in.
If you have any, mention it in the thread if you must and use the PM facility to communicate.
Do not post names, addresses,or phone numbers of strike breakers at all in here or on the board.
The above is final with NO exceptions.
You are on the largest and busiest UK postie site anywhere on the net, with the most amazing commaradary and passion that i have ever seen on a message board.
So use it and this thread to our advantage and show whoever is looking in just how we are.Be proud of yourselves.
Thanks guys.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Oh yeah, why am I holding a can of Special Brew in my hand? Because I drank it in full view of the security cameras, as on the first day of strikes, a member of the public brought us some beer down, and the police were telephoned and informed that we had beer my persons unknown - and the police failed to give a stuff. :)

SALUTE THE BALHAM ONE
This is Cliff guys, a postman from SW12 D.O. who i first met on the tube on my way to the Old St Demo in July.
Got talking on the way and was impressed with his fighting spirit. When i left my picket today i passed through Balham on my way to my mums,
i thought id stop off at the office and see if anyone was there.
And there he was all on his own ,fighting for the cause
TOP,TOP,BLOKE.
