They can give me a hundred d2d'2. I don't really care, the workload is what it is - you are paid from x hours until y hours and if the workload is too much to be completed in this time-frame then management have to deal with it. I go home at my finishing time.Godric wrote:just received union pack today stating Royal mail are trialing 7 d2ds in some areas seemingly they had talks with the union about this .... I will be very angry if this idea came from the union as our workload is at breaking point with Royal Mail adding more work on hard pressed posties .... it is about time some of the people at the top of the union try doing our job for a week to see how they get on and try the workloads and conditions posties are having to endure at present... rant over

I presume you mean put your feet up and then start looking for another job, yes?clashcityrocker wrote:More work = more jobs.
If you don't want to do D2D then you don't have to.
Just tell your DOM you won't be doing any, take your rep as a witness and then go home and put your feet up.

I've had 5 D2Ds this week, and have only been able to complete on Tuesday so far. Bring on 7!

I'm in the Shit Club 7 this week.
Issues.
1.It's fiddly as f**k.
2.There's no room on your frame to sort them.
3.Putting 14 D2D in a double slot is a larf.
4.It takes longer than they say.
5.There's no room in,under, around or above your frame to store them, even those new cabinets aren't big enough.
6.It's like factory work.
7.The one from the supermarket with all the cheap alcohol is pissing me off.

We employ a fraction of the staff we used too
Will the increase in DDT mean taking on more staff ( no pun intended )

Most of us have a workload coming out of our ears, we don't need any more increase of workload. The Royal Mail/CWU can go and stick the increase in our workloads where the sun don't shine.woofwoof wrote:Are we the only industry that f***ing complain when the union agree a workload and an allowace to preserve our jobs
