It's probably that machine, I wonder if RM intend to install at least 1 of them in every MC and possibly MPU eventually

The machine doesn't look that big so probably every area could fit at least one in, in either the MC itself or an MPU. It's more worrying for DOs, as that machine can deal with upto 18 d2ds at the same time

Re: D2D Automation Trial
By the time the wrapped D2D are done, it'll probably look like a parcel.k979aaa wrote:Question is are we not a parcels company now?SpacePhoenix wrote:6, assuming this is up to date:Lounge Lizard wrote:But how many Walk Bundling Centres does Royal Mail have, and where apart from Swindon are they located ?SpacePhoenix wrote:http://www.duplouk.com/products/collators/dm-19

Re: D2D Automation Trial
Considering we were told D2D's were to be "absorbed" into the workload and no additional time given in any of the revisions to prep them I can only assume that these machines won't make a blind bit of difference in time since D2D's don't actually take any time at all to do (according to our management, like del to neighbour dosen't add additonal time, dragging a LWT dosen't add time etc etc)
Can't see the management suddenly telling us that we all have an extra 30 mins prep time now as all the D2D's come ready bagged or something? ...NAH never happen...
