TBT MATE!!

Post by L Tommo »

Back in my old DO we had walks that picked up traveling £ Worked out over 6days deliv a week. as London is banded from 1-6 1 being center London outer is 6 We were in 2 and 3 so some got £10 a week some £7.50. But every thurs we all apart from really local walks (about 6) never got traveling.. I think in this we got our £££'s we paid out if we went buy public transport. How walks were worked out as well or vans to drop you.. As you say there is posties in much the same boat IE walk to 1st letter. But as Johnny pick said "there is other issues that we all should do anyway" IE weigh bags wait for bag drops and work to the 318. the rules as RM want. H&S as well.. But my point is, even if 10 people can ask for a van to take them to and from there walks. (furthest away) then this will cause RM even more grief as they wont want to pay out £££ and vans for just 10 or so.. IF WE BE STRONG and rally around all the posties as Burslem & Longton have... I hope as we all do on here (bar a few) that this GET ON THE VANS THREAD WORKS!!!! Lets pass the word around and let people make ther minds up??? In long run... Use your own car, pay for wear and tare. and in mean time cut your own job up and lose out in O/T. and in end your job... RM have had it easy for years thru posties that cut corners and own jobs, now we should be a lot more shrewed!! We all know this is true.. Just that people want to make it easyer for them selves and lose the bigger picture!! SHAME!!! SO COME ON POSTIES USE THEM VANS!!!!!

ImageImage Friday of week 3 for Longton. Wer'e still solid, a couple of new strike breakers but the Rep has started to put them under pressure after waiting to see if they would stand with us. He had a public spat with one yesterday and a full blown row with another today. They don't like it that 3/4s of the office are ignoring them.Image He's made no bones about remembering them for when what goes round comes roundImage Mr Rep. Everyone on the Vans out there, KEEP IT GOIN-----------KWACKImage

Sounds like you've got a top rep there Kawa.

Day off today but saw me postie.

All the work that was cut off yesterday was to be put into the frames plus obviously todays work.
Apparently the Dom wanted to cancel the extra vans, which our rep didn't care about, till the Lino got involved and kept them.
Suprise,suprise,mass cut offs :wave
