Indeed if he can drive then that not too bad, you can sit down in mail centres and sort I would imagine, I had one colleague in my office who had knee problems, even after surgery it wasn't the same as before, he was off a long time, he found it difficult to walk long distances or stand with a mail bag so he moved to a mail centre, where he can do some standing round but mostly he isn't doing anything too heavy or strenuous. once you damage a part of a body its never is quite the same as before.k979aaa wrote:Or transfer to a mail centre or other suitable workplace.NWpostie wrote:If there is no work suitable for him, there only alternative is IHR
