Postal workers turned out in force outside their Somerset delivery office today morning during their latest walkout in an increasingly bitter dispute.
The protest in Bridgwater marked the latest in a string of local strikes.
Angry workers have already staged seven walkouts, with two more due on August 17 and August 19.
Communication Workers Union officials say that a full week of strike action from the beginning of September is a real possibility.
The action has been prompted by unresolved issues of cuts to full-time jobs and overtime, management's failure to negotiate with the union, failure to pay money for previous savings and accusations of bullying by bosses.
Regional officers at the union said that several local agreements have been ripped up in the past few weeks and CWU members have been harassed by bosses.

I think this dispute will roll on & on & on , Royal Mail don't seem to worry about a settlement, I only hope that the brave postmen & women who have taken part get something out of it.

r crialsoTrouble is by the time they win their lost wages could easily end up being the same as the amount owed.
It could be equally as effective in working to rule combined with a strike also complete overtime ban.
What would want to avoid is a pyhric victory.
