I like how most of the houses there actually have boxes outside the property. Here we usually have to walk up and down each driveway, some of which are long, steep, etc. One town round i've worked on has 700 households, with 10 miles walking because the driveways are so long!

How many Letters do you have per day?

Post by swisspost87 »

Hello Dear english Postmen

How many adressed letters (or just items) do you deliver per day? More or less of course =) In switzerland, if you are delivering in the city you have walks with 1000-1400 households. That means you have 2-3 boxes of sequenced letters. In each box are around 300 letters. And then the rest of other letters. So we deliver around 2000 adressed pieces of mail a day. With unadressed mail together we have around 4000 items to deliver. Oh and we have to be done at 12.30

And how does it look like in great britain? =)

Many greetings from a swiss postman
