Only 3 of us from our office on the picket line, had 2 union officals from other places come join us!
Had a few strikers of the last strike turned into strike breakers,a few stopped and took the leaflets off us but not sure if they will read them all not. Seemed to be alot of public support though.
Our problem has been our ex rep tells people to come and work,so everybody looks up to him and does what he says. we are getting a new rep soon though.
strike breakers just laff at us and wave at us! I told the manager who came out about it but dont think anything will get done about it! :cfo

yeah when i got back to work on wednesday im going to see the managers about it.its really bad at our office its almost seems like the ppl on strike out the strike breakers, you get so much abuse from people.
I was first on picket line this morning and one bloke walks by me and starts dancing at me and singing the "you cant touch me im part of the union song".he is in the bloody union though!
its anoying that some of the ppl what are going into work are all the ones with nice posh cars and some of the posties what are like poorer and got crappy bangers are the ones what are supporting the strike.

Was on picket line this morning @ 5 til 7.30 - 5 strike breakers out of 160 - 3 on picket line.

It's not the support you would want but at least they aren't in work.

100% CWU support at our Glasgow office. I would of liked to have seen more bodies at the gates early in the morning (2 entrances to guard) but we'd already drawn up a rota, so all members get their chance each day to show their support.

One of our reps brought his camping stove, so bacon and sausage butties were on the menu. Nothing like the smell of it at 5 in the morning.

As for those offices who have strike breakers taunting those prepared to fight for their rights, have them done for harassment. RM claims to have a zero tolerance against bullying & harassment. Have the f***ers taken down the conduct code.

Absolutely solid CWU support in our office. The only strike breakers were members of the CMA, all three of them.

Very proud of our Office, again. Only the same small number of S**** went in, Still about 95% of the Office backing the CWU, well done everyone. We gather from `info` that in general most of the Country has again given the CWU (all of us) a good backing. We all need to keep this up over the next 3 days, I`m sure those 2 P**** (you know who) did not think this would happen, well done everyone keep it going!

About five more than last time gone in today. Three of these left the union this week two are scabbing . Its sickening that the union has saved one of their jobs and provided much help to one of the others recently. With all the other shortsighted usual suspects working we are still about 80% solid . We cannot afford to lose this - Keep strong people . :cfo :lfo

we must keep up our efforts with regards to the strike breakers . . . . keep explaining why we're doing it, keep giving them leaflets etc, keep them informed of RM's latest tactics and proposals . . . . even if we only get 1 more to come out with us it will have been worth the effort.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Well done my bit on the picket line this morning nearly froze to death (note to self wear warm clothes !) but sorry to report new strike breakers this morning although some have re thought about their errors and were out this morning. So all in all the majority were out :dance And just like to say that our union rep had a baby boy born today in the front of his car on the way to the hosiptal !
Together we stand and united we won (well sort of !)
