Re: sa payment
It's scheduled attendance. Basically it's overtime that you agree to perform every week for a set amount of time, usually a year. Some offices have it, some don't. In our mail centre, you can't do more than 12 hours a week, so you'll have people coming in, for example, from two to ten every Tuesday.
The only exception to this is during Christmas, when usually all overtime is treated as S.A. You don't get paid for your breaks but you do get paid whatever holiday time you would have earned if these hours were part of your normal duty. So - supposedly - it's two weeks worth now and it was two weeks last April.

Re: sa payment
This is a disappointing and tasteless thread. Are my Victorian morals on talking about earnings showing.

Based on SA hours worked over the year, divided by two to make it into two payments. Or so I am led to believe from these forums over the years!
Union what Union? Do we have a union?
