Are we believing that so many people were unaware?
Is it more likely that they all knew, and got caught out?
And so were forced into back tracking.
Bit like MP's expenses isn't it?

These corporate scumbags should be breaking rocks on Dartmoor.
We're slogging our guts out on a daily basis, many of us, myself included, having to go through the pain barrier, doing rounds that are simply too big, and spending far too much time outside in all extremes of weather, never, ever, given a fair crack of the whip......And what for? A pittance.
And yet, this scum government imports a Canadian scumbag to do the next best thing to absolutely fark-all, and pay the bitch a small fortune that would take us many, many lifetimes to come even near.
I make no apologies whatsoever for this outburst, as I am bloody livid at these piss-taking bastards.

£1.47 million, £1/4 million for a house, cutting benefits for the disabled, no employment tribunals, my anger is rising.

Eh? When is After tax, this amounted to £120,000. This is the sum that Ms Greene is now repaying, Repaying £250,000??????????
When you earn an extortionate amount you fall into the highest tax bracket!![]()
Don't worry, no danger of any of us workers falling into that group!
The interesting thing is that Vince Cable has actually cost the tax payer a large slice of cash since the tax paid will obviously have to be returned to Royal Mail as well.
Royal Mail in itself doesn't pay much in the way of tax since the bulk of it's profits are set against ongoing investment using an Annual Investment Allowance so most of the £130,000 that would have gone to the tax man will be used to buy new crayons for the WCM team.
Funny as f**k these politicians.
good times, bad times you know I've had my share

If it wasn't for Vince Cable objecting, then this would not have come to light. He is one MP who seems to be in touch with the common man. When we go over by an hour then overtime payment is queried and budgets are examined as to whether the company can afford to pay us. The rhetoric emanating from the top management just goes to prove they are all on the gravy train, just like a element of MP's, as the expenses scandal has proved over the few years.
