Maybe they think we'll all be on strike throughout December and it's to cover that.

Excellent. Angard casuals will be laid off again to make way for more casuals that they don't need.

Bravo.

We will recruit all employees directly and pay them via the Royal Mail payroll system.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

I've heard nothing off Angard and I can't even get the RM website to work, has anyone else had any joy?

I've been ignoring a lot of anonymous calls lately, thinking they were just o2 trying to sell me their latest "update". Look well if it was actually Angard

website is working.. first question is

"Are you currently working for Royal Mail through Angard or have you registered for work through Angard in the last 4 weeks?"

click yes and get this

As an Angard employee you are already registered to work for Royal Mail. Please speak to Angard and/or your current line manager to express your desire to work over the Christmas period.

so i guess i gotta contact angard?
