PUBLIC SUPPORT OH YES LOTS OF IT

Post by chayoliver »

:nana I know a few people who read these other so called forums keep moaning about public support, lets remember these that are moaning on these other forums are not concerned about you me or anyone in the job they are just self self self, i havent come across one single person who is against the strike yet, the public support i feel is absalutely massive, i know we have P*ssed off a lot of firms but you talk to them and they blame the government and the people in charge and the man/woman on the street who have walked past our picket line have been brilliant. :Applause :Applause :Applause

It's the simple propoganda machine. Distort the truth. All mention of a strike has been removed from the front of the BBC News Website.

By order of the Great Leader, he wants nothing like that interfering with the political machinations to make sure that Labour get into power again so they can ruin everything else.

You can put as much propoganda forward as you want, the picket lines have been strong, and will continue to be so, because RM employees know what actually goes on.

If you believe their lies now, might as well go back to work!

Trained bullshitters for life; and it's alright for them with their new bonus/pension/artificial scheme. Good luck to them!

Mr Brown can run but he can't hide. Keep the picket lines going and eventually his business buddies will be putting the squeeze on him and he will have to do something.

Thanks Macca for making me laugh!! Had a sh***y couple of days :Very Happy

I agree the TV have been very one sided. Got back from picket to have sky news at Scotts of Stow moaning about things and threatening to go elsewhere - saying how bad we were to be on strike. Went and visited their website and told them what I thought. Shall take my business elsewhere :so there

I've seen it vary, some people think we are still getting paid whilst on strike!!!! whilst others are quite clued up. Everyone I spoke to on Thursday were saying they supported us. I think the problem is it's actually more complicated than people realise, it took me a while to get it.(maybe I'm just thick though)

Should be interesting this morning when there are massive queues outside callers (as management won't know what there doing in there), plenty of time to get the message across to the customers whilst their waiting.
So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

Yes you are right. On the news there is about 10 minutes to do with Lewis Hamilton, but only 10 seconds about the strike! Allan Leighton says he is against bullying, but people like him are the biggest bullies. People like that are picking on the most vulnerable people. The rich and middle class gain their wealth and power by sucking the blood and killing the poor. Beware of wolves in sheeps clothing!
