Not that much...

Post by MartinMail »

I started on Tuesday (Monday H&S day). £106 went into my bank account today, after tax. Will this rise after the training week? Or when I get my own walk or when the "6 month trial period" ends? Or when I turn 18?

£106 per week isn't that much after tax. I would be better working in an Aldi...

I thought you would be delighted with that. Let's not forget Martin, it's only a few weeks ago you were telling us how great Leighton and Crozier are and how we should all be happy working under them. Surely you cant have changed your mind in under a week?

I agree, posties should stick to being posties. C'mon, what else are they good at?

I'd have a guess at not a lot.

What have I done. The posties are coming to get me. oh no!

The way you people are acting, towards authority in your work place, is like school kids towards their teachers/headmasters. It's, well how should I put this...

Can you really hold that against me? It was a basic response to almost everyone on BlueShirts being against me and thinking I was Armani.

Still can't say any of those examples you have digged out are positive about L&C, can you?

Just go back to your postings in August and have a look for yourself. Several people were against you because you were on a wind up before ever stepping inside an office. Now, here you are getting shafted along with everyone else. A little lesson you've learned. Don't open your trap about things you know nothing about and people won't jump all over you. Now, get that union membership form filled in, handed in and start fighting for a real cause.

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
